Starting Over

I am new to blogging, but as I embark on a new phase of my life, I think this will be a useful tool. A few years ago, I truly learned my purpose in life.... to help others see the beauty, value and potential of their lives . Providing inspiration & hope is my calling. I have been blessed with the ability to communicate with all types of people, so finding my niche was a challenge. We all have people in our lives who try to crush our dreams and unfortunately those folks are usually the ones we love and interact with the most. Unfortunately, those folks had more of an impact on my life than I knew. It was February 2007 when I recognized that my life had become 100% about everyone else and nothing about me! After that date, I made a vow to start loving MY life. Since that date, I have experienced the greatest personal and financial loss of my life, but ironically, I have never been so happy! The loss of nearly all of my material possessions helped me to understand the most important things in life.No more is my focus on "money, status and possessions!" For me, the things that mean the most are relationships! First with God, my children, and so on.... We all know people will enter and exit our lives, but the impact we have on the lives of others lives long after the relationships end. As I enter this phase of my life, I know the greatest and most memorable experiences are on the horizon.
